Sometimes the biggest bathroom transformations aren’t about making the space bigger, they’re about
making better use of the space you already have. For this Pittsburgh home, we transformed a dated
bathroom into a bright, open, and comfortable retreat with a spacious new shower and thoughtful features
designed for everyday convenience.
The Problem:
The original bathroom featured a traditional tub and shower setup that felt closed off and dated. The
existing vanity, flooring, and finishes also needed an update to create a more cohesive and modern space.
The homeowners wanted a bathroom that offered more comfort, functionality, and accessibility without
sacrificing style.

The Result:
We replaced the existing tub and shower with a spacious 40″ × 72″ walk-in shower, creating a much more
open and functional layout. The new shower features warm tan Onyx walls, a decorative Angora Basket
Weave border, a wide recessed niche, built-in bench seating, a handheld showerhead, as well as two strategically
placed security bars for added support and peace of mind. A sleek barn style glass shower door with
stainless steel hardware completes the space, while new lighting brightens the shower area!
The vanity received a fresh update as well, featuring beautiful Pistachio cabinetry, a quartz countertop, new
stainless steel fixtures, and a coordinating mirror. New flooring, updated trim, a comfort height toilet, and
additional storage helped tie everything together. The result is a bathroom that feels more open, more
functional, and beautifully tailored to the homeowners needs
