A dated bathroom can feel completely different with the right updates. For this Pittsburgh home, we refreshed an older, traditional bathroom with clean new finishes, updated fixtures, and a brighter overall look while keeping the familiar bathtub layout.
The Problem:
The original bathroom featured older white tile with dark accent borders, a traditional bathtub, dated flooring, and an aging vanity and fixtures. While the space was functional, the finishes made the bathroom feel dated and the layout lacked some of the modern touches homeowners expect today.
The Result:
We gave this bathroom a fresh new look with a 60″ × 29″ straight acrylic bathtub surrounded by bright white wet-area walls featuring a decorative Rosettes pattern and Travertine border. Three built-in shelves along the back wall provide convenient storage, while a new security bar adds an extra layer of support and functionality. The rest of the bathroom received a refresh as well, including Classic Limed Oak vinyl flooring, a new white pedestal sink with a Delta stainless steel faucet, a frameless beveled-edge medicine cabinet, updated toilet, stainless steel accessories, and fresh trim and paint.
The finished space feels cleaner, brighter, and more updated, proving that even a traditional bathroom can get a whole new look without completely changing its footprint.
